A fuel tanker explosion at Ojo barracks, Lagos, has been experienced this morning. The accident reportedly occurred as a result of the bad roads in the area.
Many cars were razed in the inferno, which also affected for petrol tankers leading to an increased intensity in the fire
This explosion comes few months after the one on Otedola bridge where over 10 persons were burnt beyond recognition and over 50 cars were destroyed.
As of the time of filing the report, the fire seemed to have been quelled but there is no report yet on if there is any casulaity in the incident.

There have been recent calls to the Federal and State governments on the state of the roads within that axis and it is quite unfortunate that this sad incident happened as a result of the bad roads.
Nigerians have also cried out to the government on the nuisance constituted by the tanker drivers on the road. They are believed to occupied the major parts on the road, just just a few meters for commuters to drive on.
